I don't think these were available back when we had our Mark VII and spent a ton of $$$ keeping it "up".

We just had one of those in the shop a while ago, it ended up leaving to another shop. Man o man was that sucker low in the back with the air out of those bags! We are talking rear bumper just an inch or so off the road!

Suspension light came on probably as the compressor ran too long and timed out. Cause yet unknown. Likely suspect leaky bag.
The inlet outlet valve at the bags has also been known to leak as they will get debris and rust in them over the years.
When you get the bags aired back up, squirt them with soapy water, just like checking for a leak in a tire, look for bubbles, even tiny ones like caviar size will be a problem overnight. My guess is you will spot it easily.
The compressor also has a drier on it at the intake. I cut one open here a while back and it was soaking wet and full of rust.
It has something to do with the little air intake box mounted on the core support. Seems it is in a bad place and sucks up water.
Fix the bag that is leaking and be sure to check or replace the drier.
I would pull the drier and squirt brake clean into it, then blow through it with an air hose. If a bunch of rust and trash comes out,replace it, or the compressor will be next.
The drier is full of little silica balls, it is a dessicant to remove moisture

I'll bet I blew an airbag.
When we went out to the 88 Lincoln Mark VII LSC this evening to run into the grocery store I noticed it was sitting a little low in the rear. When we came out of the store it was low again and when we got home it was leaning to the driver's side. We went in to karaoke and it was low on the driver's side rear when I got out of it in town and the "Check Suspension" light came on during the drive home. I hope I didn't drag anything when it bottomed out on a high spot in my drive when I came home last night. The suspension has always worked great on this Mark but I've had problems with previous ones. I see something else has been added to the list of things to do tomorrow.
