geezer69 hahaha, i lied. my chevy had 250 and a few when i traded it. but ive seen um that had 300000 on um. t think mine would have. it never showed any signs of a problem.course im easy on um.

cobalt327 The 3.8L was/is a hell of an engine. Wonder what my odds are to ever see 300K on my 2010 Impala w/the 3.9L V6...

monster76 got 345 on my daily my old mans truck has over 500k my truck is a 99 my old mans is a 97 we do alot of driving all we go through are transmissions but then again heavy equipment and heavy right foots would do it lol it funny when your getting to another 100k you start watching like a count down

crussell85 Yes, the majority of the miles are highway miles, I work for a traveling construction company. I still think its an impressive amount of miles though

crussell85 300,000 was always my goal, I won't trade it in, now I'm just curious of how many more it will go!

CrashFarmer2 I thought that you won some money!
A friend just traded in his Chevy pickup with 300,000+ miles. I was a little disappointed since I thought he would keep it forever. Of course it had went though several engines and transmissions as well as various other parts. I enjoyed the homemade door handles that were just a couple of scraps welded together.

geezer69 thats dang good. ive seen several of then chevy pickups that did it too. i had 1 of um.that mainenance is the ticket.i magine a large % of repairs are due to just not takin care of um.

Just wanted to share the photo I took on the way to work today. I was pretty excited when I got down to the last few miles. This is on my 2002 Chevrolet Impala 3.8 Liter V6.
