chevota'54 Thanks guys, I'm gonna have to spend the money eather on the 14bolt, or redo the 12bolt thats in it. That means puting a posi in it,new bearings and seals, and gears. I,ve already got my rear wheels and tires,2 sets, strip and street. The 14bolt has already been rebuilt and 4:10 Zooms. That 14bolt sure would look a whole lot cooler under there.

big gear head Yes, Moser makes a bunch of housing ends that can be used to convert it to a semi floating axle and 5 or 6 lug. They can make the axles for it too.

prostreet6t9 You can put ford 9" ends in the 14 bolt and have axles made for it.

I do quite a few of those for the truck puller guys.

OneMoreTime The six lug axles have an entirely different bearing setup and are not interchangeable..you will most likely need to have the housing modified to allow the installation of disk brakes and the axles you wish for..the axles them selves will be a custom piece to obtain the proper spline count as well..this is something for a custom axle shop most likely one that does a lot of 4wd and offroad work..

14 bolt corp. to 6 lug

I have a 14 bolt full floater dually axle, that already has a Detroit Locker in it. I'd like to use it for my "Gasser". Can I change it to 6 lug axles and disc brakes?
