vinniekq2 750 out of the box is a great choice. If you are good with carbs, put an 850 base plate on your 650. This is a real screamer.
Ive also used 4781-2 on a 350,thats an 850 double pumper,it also works well but has a tendency to make you upgrade other parts and go a lot faster

carb question

I am running a sbc 350, roller cam 227@50 single pattern cam, .565 lift on a 108LSA. The heads are after market vortec - engine quest lightning -180 intake runner with a 1.94 intake valve. Eddy rpm air gap and 9.9:1 compression. Motor in a 68 camaro with 3.90 gears, 26.5 tall tires, 2,500 stall, 700r4 with a 3.06 1st gear. Car is used on the weekends, street action etc. not a track car.

Car has a holley street hp 650 DP and runs well. I did not want to over carb the car. The carb has straight leg boosters in it. No hesitation, takes off well, no lugging etc. I borrowed a friends old carb which he put a profrom main body on it so it is a 750 DP with downleg boosters. With friends carb, my car had a better signal at idle, and the power from a roll at 2,000 rpm was unreal. When the secondaries opened up it was violent and would push me back in the seat. The car had much more power when the secondaries opened with the 750 downleg boosters than my 650 with straight leg boosters. I was thinking of getting the proform main body to convert my carb or a holley main body with downleg boosters. Question - go with a 750 main body conversion with downleg or maybe annular and get even more power? I know it was a long post. Thanks in advance for the help.
