Your issue with your 305 is that you have a 305.
( I know, because many years ago, I had an issue with a 327. I got rid of that 327 and I no longer have an issue with a 327! )
There are rules to this game.
Rule #1: the bigger the 3-digit number... the BETTER!
Rule #2: blower, nitrous, or turbo can assist with Rule #1.
Rule #3: see Rule #1.

hey everyone ,my name is bud and im having some issues with a 305 ,(pre 80's) in my 73 chevy,im heading to enigines to leave post where it belongs ,im so greatful for finding this site today .i have a few projects going and am looking forward to some expert help and advice about things.thanks again ,bud
