I would buy regular headers then get them coated at a reputable shop. The headers you buy with the coating already on them always seem to have problems with it chipping off. Just a thought..
I've been going back and forth on the idea of getting my Sanderson QP1000 cast iron headers ceramic coated. I really want to lower my under hood temps, especially when I'm offroading during the summer.
The ceramic coating applied by header companies, IMO, is NOT worth it. They don't last.
We send our uncoated headers to Thermal Tech in Hopewell, VA. They apply a "thermal barrier" superior to ceramic. Same with Jet Hot and Swain. I'm sure there are others, but these three I KNOW are good.
We also have the iron manifolds done at Thermal Tech, with an "iron colored" thermal barrier.
