V8&4spd Some of the gauge openings are standard size GM. You can use gauges from a 2nd gen F body if you want. You can also use different speedo readings all the way up to 160 mph.

V8&4spd I put a 65 Pontiac dash in a 67 El Camino. There was more cab room after I swapped dashes. Just use a cut off wheel and cut near the windhsield.

HEAVYChevy915_1.00 Wow v8&4spd! I knew A bodies had a lot of matching parts but I wasn't sure about this one. That helps a million! I'll let u all know what dash I choose!

V8&4spd Any 64-67 A body dash will fit in there, it might not be stock but it's a option.

HEAVYChevy915_1.00 I started looking into that a day or two ago but still no luck. Just a bunch of clutter about dash pads. Good advice though!

DanTwoLakes Your '65 El Camino is identical to the '65 Chevelle forward of the "B" pillars, so check with the Chevelle web sites.

1965 el Camino dash problems!!!

Ok so I finally decided to start the whole dash/wiring replacement on my elky. One big problem...the entire passenger side was rusted to ****!!! I'm not talking about the dash pad, I mean the actual dash panel that's made of metal and welded to the body! Worst part is that no one makes these anymore. I already pulled the dash out so it's basically firewall and some wires among other things. Question is, does anyone know where I can get this part? Dvap wants about 500 and won't even send pics first. Am I stuck getting something custom and not so great or am I stuck searching for years to come?
