Today I removed the camshaft. I came to the conclusion that it would be better to replace it.
The question is, what would be the best cam for this engine?? And what springs would work with this cam and these heads??
It's a 383 stroker engine with Dart iron eagle SS heads. 72CC chambers. 165CC runners, 2.02 intake and 1,96 exhaust.
Compression end pressure is 184 PSI. I think compression ratio would be arround 1:9,5

I contacted Bullet Racing and this is not their cam...
Tomorrow I will measure the lift on my cam and check the spring height.

I'd bet a nickel that Greg T has nailed it, Bullet Racing. According to what I see on their site, this would be a hydraulic flat tappet cam. If it were a roller, it would have a HR designation.
Looking up a Crane cam with close to the same specs as the BR cam, I find the following information for parts to be used with that grind. The first two choices listed will fit into the stock OEM spring seats. The third spring shown here will require seat machining to increase diameter of the seat.

I agree 300 is the advertised duration.
You can see if it's a solid or hydraulic and if it's a flat tappet or roller (be sure to not mix flat tappet lifters up- the lifter is married to the lobe it was used on). I suspect it's going to be a flat tappet hydraulic, like 99% of the SBC cams being used today.
Measure the valve lift at the pushrod and see if that, along w/the 300 degrees advertised duration, matches up to anything.

I checked the number on the back site of the Cam.
The engine is not taken apart..

Did you mark the lifters when you took it apart?
Where did you get the engine from most shops keep records of engines they sell. Even if it was a few years back they can probably tell you what kind of cam is in it.
At this point if its out i would probably replace the cam and go on. A bath room scale and a press can tell you abput the springs. Calipers will also be needed. But you should be able to find something that matches up minus a few pounds for age.

I have to know what kind of camshaft I got in my 383 stroker to order springs for my heads. Found a number on the back of my camshaft but can't find info on it..
