tech69 a couple more shots. Red always looks nice outside in the sun, even a red with 2 parts reducer.:roll eyes: I'm happy. Can't complain.

tech69 my labor of love is finally done..well sort of. I will eventually repaint the red at a later point. I don't want to be made to feel like I'm fussy for asking for too much booth time so it is what it is. I'll crack open a beer at some point today but it will be short lived cause it's gonna be tough to out do this bike and I'd like to focus on learning something new for the next build. I have some wild ideas for my next build but it's going to call for beveled holes or whatever the "technical" term for it is. Glad to say my first metal fabrication project is done and off to the next. I'm beat...but I'll still go play basketball with it parked in clear view.

tech69 beautiful. good to see people getting stuff done around here.

finished the last couple of pieces of polished aluminum trim in the back window and roof section. Hope to order a radio next payday and get that installed this winter.

Well - since I dumped the cat-urine soaked kitty litter into the mole holes, I have not had any new "mountains" appear.

Keeping fingers crossed.......

Too Many Projects I did a search and found his profile. He last visited Sept 25th of last year. He was working to get the car done for a big show. Nothing since. I might shoot him a PM or email to see if he responds.

MARTINSR I don't know but he is a cool dude, he sent me the windshield rubber for free that he decided not to use. And yes that car is main arena indoor car show quality.

No, the replacement rubber is very expensive, like $250 and I have found it to be less than acceptable in quality so I will be using the one I pulled from my parts car that the window came out of.

Back when I first got this car I was going to send the glass to
americanLT1 but it had some flaws and his car is as close to flawless as you can get! So he didn't want it, I am so glad now because I didn't realize how bad the glass in Marge was sandblasted. So this window out of my fourdoor parts car even with it's flaws will be much better. This is a driver, I am not so worried about perfection. I will urethane that baby in there and drive it.
