|bjautos7||have asked around and from what i can tell , not many people had any thing nice to say about them. one even say that they try to break the engine on the dyno so they can fix it. i did ask when was the last time they calibrate it and the answer i got was never. i should have known better but was to egger to put on the dyno.|

you have way too much manifold vacuum through your pull too, with your carb wide open the vacuum should increase with rpm, not go down, and the most you're going to see on an engine like yours is 2-3" at peak power at WOT, if that much.
Sounds like this shop bought a used dyno and didn't want to bother learning how to use it, or calibrate it.
Also, sounds like the sold you a line of bull **** on the tune if they said 76 and you're pulling 73's out.
Your fuel consumption is WAY off, like not even close.
Your power was still rising when they shut it off, they should have at least taken it to 6,000 rpm, maybe a little more if you were comfortable with it. The reason your peak looks low is because you never hit your peak, its past 5500 rpm.

|bjautos7||no other pages ,they wrote on the first page 13 idle and 11.80-12.00 which must be air flow ratio. they also put 76/83 jets and timing @ 32. I removed rocker covers and found I had to re-adjust the roller rocker as 3 of them was loose. I also strip down the carb to clean an it had 73 / 83 jets not 76 in the front bowl as stated.|

|cobalt327||On the second page, along about 4200 rpm (just below the torque peak) the bsfc numbers begin to look 'meaningful'. bjautos7 said the air/fuel ratio was 13:1 @ idle and 11.8:1 @ wot, so maybe there's another page showing the a/f ratios.|

|rjpark36||Did you get a chart of RPM/HP/Torque from the shop? I'm curious about the curves, and how you mentioned the HP fell off drastically after about 5000 RPM. I'm just getting started with a similar build, and these numbers are about what I'm shooting for, maybe a bit more. Interesting reading, and lots of good info in this thread!|

sfc= specific fuel consumption
this is how many pounds of fuel per h.p. produced,example, .40
this means that every hp produced will use .4 pounds of fuel per hour. So if you were making 100 hp,your engine would burn 40 pound of fuel(about 7 gallons per hour)while making 100 horse power.
This number I check to make sure its not too high(indicates problems)
you W.O.T. mixture of 11.8:1 is too rich (except for maybe a blower)
Doesnt look like you got a dyno tune so much as a dyno test

missed the torque bu 8 and HP by 25,thats close.
How many pulls did you make?a tuning session always fids some power.The dyno headers look a little big for your engine?
did you try any spacers? a spacer tells a big story. What final timing does your engine like?
what was the S.F.C.? What did you set the air /fuel ratio for your application? 12.2 ish:1 is good for power using a carb
