350 engine stumbles, surges, hesitates at take off

You don't say if your 350 engine has any upgrades such as camshaft, heads, intake, etc. But here is an article to help recurve your distributor and set your timing. With most aftermarket camshafts they need more initial timing. This also means you have adjust the distributor for less mechanical timing. Your vacuum advance will probably need a kit too.

33Willys77 Whats your timing at? What distributor do you have and how is it curved? Edelbrocks like to have a lot of initial timing - so get as much initial as the motor will allow. Also, read their manual - take the time and get to understand it - it will benefit you greatly.
