Valkyrie5.7 Looking good! Man you work fast!

mr4speed Ended up using both quarters and rear valance off another donor car. I was just planning on using drivers only, then went and put on the trunk lid and found the top of the pass quarter was totally distorted (car came in without a trunk lid) this was after the skin was already installed. So had to cut off that side and rehash the whole mess. Ended up putting 5 quarters on this car in all after the skins were cut to repair the "new" quarters. Lots of time on this one , but just lucky to find decent original parts to work with.

MARTINSR That is one hell of a rebuild you are doing there. Using used parts is SUCH a pain, but still much better than the pain of reproduction.

That is a heck of a find you go there, you lucked out getting another convert quarter!

mr4speed Making more progress on this 442 with most of the bodywork done, final blocking of the poly primer almost finshed, then it will be coated with epoxy after the final sanding of poly. Once that is all in the epoxy it will come off the chassis, then all bodywork begins on the underside of the shell.

mr4speed Customer has the 400 olds motor rebuilt and ready to go, somebody dropped a 455 buick in this at some point. Ray the question really is how many cut off wheels does it take?? (quite a few) Will be covered in metal filings for a few more days....Will keep posting pics as I go......

69 widetrack WOW...does that car know how lucky it is that it's getting rebuilt? Lots of work Dennis and all looks great. Just a quick many tape measures do you ware out doing a build like that? Very ambitious build, but, I know it's in capable hands. Keep us updated.

Best Regards

mr4speed Got into some more rust repair and some very poor collision repair (what a mess) luckily was able to locate a good donor quarter and rear valance off another 442 conv to graft in a nice repair. Then will have to fix the rusted areas on the "new" quarter.

tech69 you eastcoasters like swiss cheese with your sheet metal don't you? Man, that dash looks like it's been sitting next to the Titanic. We truly got it good in Cali with our little 2" square patches for "rust".
