Bonneville462 Might want to think about bolting the seat back so it can't swing forward for safety..

I did this on my 64 Bonneville that has the same seats as your Chevy. People can still get in the back but I've never had the need to use the rear seat in 12 years..

gratefuldad I can answer definitively as I just finished restoring my front buckets. I used PUI interiors, black vinyl. The top portion (back support) is identical on both sides. The bottom (***) portion has a slight difference between them. If; however, you wish to use them interchangeably it is possible. I know this because I found it out the hard way. Not knowing there was a difference, I was well into restoring the first seat before realizing this. I was already too far down the road and left it as is. I had already cut a hole to fit the hinge that the back seat attaches to. Both seats turned out nearly perfect as it was, but if you are doing this for a trailer queen and that sort of thing matters, then there are slight differences between the two bottom covers.

1964 Impala SS Interior Bucket Seats

Is the driver bucket seat "stock" upholstery (Not the frames, just the vinyl) interchangeable with the passenger side? Or are they dedicated to left and right only? I'm asking for a friend!
