Do you know if its a direct bolt up replacement to go to the f350 master cylinder

Wrong master cylinder on the F 150 body is to blame. It was never for a 4 wheel disc system.
Try the late model F 350 master, if it was for 4 wheel disc. You might as well use the hydra boost also so you have assist to apply those binders.
A larger bore master cylinder will have enough volume to run the 4 wheel discs but may require a stronger assist to apply them to the full stopping capability.

79 ford f150 brakes
Just picked up a 79 f-150 with 1 ton axles and 4 wheel dual piston disc brakes. Problem is the brakes work like crap. Pedal goes to the floor. Has stock f150 master cylinder and booster. I replaced MC with one from an f250...no change. Brakes were completely bled and have good fluid flow, but when you try to stop this beast it just wont work. Wondering if that MC and booster is too small to push enough fluid to stop it. What MC and booster should I use? Can I use one off a late model f350?
