Trophyman OK, got the answer from STIMPY over on hotrodders dot com. I just installed the poly bushing (Energy Suspension) without the metal collar. Thanks everyone.

kso Do you mean uppers? Stock on my '72 'vette measures around 1.28, right in between your two numbers instead of being at either. Maybe a patient counterman might pull some boxes out for you.

nstalling control arm cross shaft bushings

I need some guidance on installing control arm cross shaft bushings. I am using a pair of Mustang II tubular control arms from Heidts. I need to replace the cross shaft bushings so I called Heidts and got both the Energy Suspensions and Moog part number. They (Heidts) said the bushings fit 65-82 Corvette.

So I get a set of Moog K8219. When I go to install them I canít see how in the world this bushing is going into that hole. The control arm hole is 1.193. The control arm bushing is, at the very end where it goes into the arm 1.405 and at the collar 1.457. (see attached). Can somebody tell me if these look right?

Thanks
