I am thinking there needs to be a "come on man" thread dedicated to showcase the oddest most ridiculous rides (OK so beauty is in the eye of the beholder),,,,
This baby cost more than 300K to build and is a vette with possibly the ugliest body style attached,,,come on man!
I'm sorry to inform you that it is in fact real...(I can't see anyone going to the trouble of photoshopping it twice more since it would probably be quicker to build the thing for real!)
The front even looks different in that the photos showing it from the front and the rear show the front at different heights. The headlamps are much higher compared to the headers in the shot from the front than the rear. It's odd, the wheels look to large too on the shot from the front, I am not convinced.
No,no,no! This would have been a treasure! It's just missing a couch. A lot of you guys never had the pleasure of making out with your girl at the Drive-In. This set up might have made the experience a little more comfortable.
I didn't even notice that, I was focussing on the massive fender flares...I will say that it does make that Mako Shark body style look more like a shark...cross bred with a 1940's Ford tractor.
I wish I had a photo of a 69 GT500 in my town in the seventies. It had huge flared fenders that were undone! The guy had cut slits into to the quarters and front fenders rolling the metal up and out forming a flair. But it was never welded, or even supported with a piece of round stock or something! So the metal was flapping up and down as he drove! NO KIDDING! ain:
