poncho62 Your slant six is a 225. The 318 is a V8.

In the earlier years slant sixes alsocame in a 170 cu in size, but I think it was discontinued by 72.
You will learn all this stuff, just read, read, read.

My brother in law built up a slant six up years ago in his Valiant and could beat many V8s with it.

Determing engine type

I recently bought a 1972 Dodge D100 custom with a slant 6. How do I know what size it is ie:225, 318? As you can tell I am new to this.
