M&M CUSTOM The Detriot locker was the only one available for the 10.5 inch 14-bolt for MANY years, and can be used on the street.
As with any locker or limited slip addition you will HAVE to get accustomed to the changes in the driveability of your truck.
My boss just installed lockers both front and rear in his 1996 Jeep Cherokee and says he needs four wheel drive more than he did before, as the rear will kick the back of the Jeep off to one side with very little throttle or warning.
With an axle that big I am thinking you aren't going to be hotrodding this on the street, I don't think you will have any problems.
Just remember the Detroit will give a loud clunk in the rear when it is working correctly, just get used to the noise.

The first breaking point in hard parts on these axles is the carrier bearing caps.

Big86inthestixx So if i put a Detroit locker in my 14 bolt full floater, will i still be able to drive it on the street or will i need a selectable locker...which they don't make for my 14 bolt....

DoubleVision full locker on the street isn`t a good idea for safety reasons. the result can be broken axle`s, sheared teeth off the gears and broken carriers.
