10-23-2002 07:47 PM thats because tops are not for the amature. it is a learned trade, unless you have a lot of time and patience, and lots of hot rodder ingenuity you are best to take it to a trim shop that can do it right there is nothing that spoils a cars appearance more than an improper top job. plus you can ruin your paint, and break your glass or ruin the top parts. i did trim work for many years and tops aren't something for the inexperienced.

Mustang Convertible Top

I would like to know if anyone can tell me how to put a new convertible top on a 92 Mustang? The one I have has no directions with it. Thanks ! Larry
