presently im puting a 8"rearend in place of the 6 cyl one on my 68 stang. after that a new distributer, disc brake 5 lug conversion. and then some new cragers. just enough to keep it roadworthy until the teardown after i go to wyotech. i plan on making it a 10-9 second street-strip-show car. yes i know it will take me about 10 years and a sh!t load of money but yeah my project is doing good just costin me to much money

I'm swapping a 4.9 V-8 from a '95 Cadillac DeVille into a 1995 Monte Carlo Z34. It's about a 95% straight bolt in, the biggest issue is rewiring one wire harness connector and having new AC lines made. I have the engine and the Monte and am working on rounding up the rest of the pieces I want for it. I'm having the transaxle rebuilt with all HD components and I need to work a limited slip into the budget, they make 'em for FWD but they're about double the cost of a RWD unit. It will also be getting a 3.73 final drive while it's apart. Exterior mods will be minimal, a 2" drop, removal of the Z34 badges and Monte script, a rear spoiler and the addition of black crossed flag emblems from an '82 Vette to the front fenders similar to the Fuelie flags on the '57 Bel Air's, after all it IS a Fuel Injected V-8 and not much bigger than the 57's 283............ Here is what it should look like when finished....

(This is not a photochop of my actual car, this one just had a nicer setting than any of mine.)

Oops! Almost forgot the sound system !!! Tunes will be via a K & N open element air filter, a high flow catalytic converter and an Edelbrock Performer RPM crossflow muffler for a late model Camaro. If nothing else the Cad 4.9's DO have a SWEET exhaust note :D .
