BstMech It should still have a boss on the side where the hole would normally go, you can just drill it and tap it.

66 283 auto / 67 283 swap Question

I have a 67 malibu 3sp 283 - I pulled the motor and installed a rodded '66 283 (I know - but its my first motor and I wanted it to bolt up cleanly) - problem being the '66 block is from an auto trans and does not have the pilot hole by the oil filter where the ball stud is to hold the pedal linkage - I fabricated something to get me by, but I wondered if anyone makes such an aftermarket bracket?
