Jmark JRM...

Really, its not worth all the effort. Nothing will fit, and we mean nothing! The blocks are totally different, the mounts are different, all the accessories are located differently. By the time you get it going, you could have bought a wheezer Chevy 350 for less money to rebuild or install while you are building your new motor.

BOBCRMAN@aol.com Buick will not bolt to chevy trans without adapter. No Buick motor parts will fit a Chevy motor

350 buick in chevy truck?

I have a 79 Chevy Pickup with a 350. I have the oringinal motor that I am rebuilding, but would like to know if a 350 from a 72 Buick would bolt in and match my tranny. I have a TH350.

If it wouldn't, would the heads off of that buick fit on my chevy 350.

The casting numbers are below if that will help any:

Chevy: 14016379
Buick: 1231447

Thanks.
Steve
