Hi, I have a Jag sedan with a Chev 350 and a 700R4. The trans is an early 82, I think, and was modified and installed by a performance trans builder. I noticed no electrical wire to the lockup plug. I now think that the converter is non-lockup. How can I verify this? Where would the non-lockup blocker valve go, into the valve body or the pump? I'll pull the pan to change the filter anyway, so I can check while I'm in there. I'd rather have lockup, but I'll keep what I have for now. BTW the trans builder is long gone so I can't ask him.
