Siggy_Freud He probably is losing a little unless that 350 is really built. However is it worth the 250 bucks? Not in my opinion. I dont see why it should cost that much to change tho. Exhaust pipe is fairly cheap. Take the old pipe and have someone bend it to the same angles as the old setup (take off the old setup and bring it with you, you'll love the open headers lol). Im sure you have to know someone who can weld! 250 bucks sounds rediculous. I did an exhaust system on my longbed truck 2.5 all the way with two flowmasters for 210 bucks. On one hand I did all the labor but you already have the mufflers. $30 bucks for new flanges, and maybe $50 in piping. Shouldn't take more than an hour to do at all and even if he charges 65 bucks and hour that leaves you at $145 bucks.

exhaust sizing

my friend just bought a car and we put a 350 in it with rpm air gap, 750 dp ,xe274 cam, vortec heads 1 5/8 headers and he has 3 inch exhaust to the mufflers and 2.5 out do u think this exhaust will reduce the low end power over just having 2.5 all the way back and is it worth spending 250 bucks to change over to 2.5 all the way
