Is it possible to find a car you used to own if you don't have the VIN number? In other words could you find it just bythe name of the previous owner?
My dad bought a 1975 Camaro brand new back then and I'd like to find it for him if possible and surprise him by fixing it up. If anyone knows anything about this please let me know.
Try old insurance records for the vin number?? Check old filing (if its available) at home or contact your father's insurance office, maybe they can help. Then go from there.
Without the VIN number youre looking at a long shot, but it can be done. I managed to fing a 55 chevy my Grandpa used to own just by goin through owners and by miracle they had info on the person each of them sold it to. Its a slim chance but it may be your only way. Now that I think about it you might could check with the DMV if you know relatively wherer the car is. Just a thought. Good luck man imp:
