Markgoodman5 Good Luck. That is usually the first sign of clutch failure on a 4L60E. Mine did that for about 4 months before finally going out and dropping O/D and Drive. I used some stuff called Lucas Transmisssion Restore, and it helped for a while,(4 months) but there is no quick fix in a bottle.

4L60E transmission problems

Does anybody have a link to a troubleshooting guide for this tranny?

It's not shifting right intermittenly. I'm thinking that its overheating and i should install a secondary cooler but want some more information on what could be causing this and if something is ruined. It shifts just fine until I pull a big hill or mountain pass....
