Meangreen Meguirs gold for the wash. I would recomend Meguirs Show car wax if you really want it to shine. It wont last forever but will make it shine really well. If you want something that will last a little bit longer get Meguirs high tech yellow wax. Either is great. If your really into waxing and stuff go to They are really into it there...

hotroddesigner I'll leave it up to the paint pros as to whether you should wax it, but if you wash it, definitely stay away from anything harsh like dish soap. Go buy a good quality car wash, like Mother's or Meguiar's.

As for wax, I HIGHLY recommend Eagle One Wet or Meguiar's NXT. Neither is super abrasive, so you get a really nice shine without a lot of swirls. They also go on and come off really easily.
