68Velle It depends on how full they are, the ride quality. My chevelle has them on the back (i didn't put them there either) and so it looks somewhat respectable I have to keep them cranked up a little. At 80 psi, it looks ok, but rides like a lumberwagon. Or if drop the pressure to 40, the ride softens up, then the driver side sags a lot, it isn't cool.

jimfulco Air shocks will not hold up the truck by themselves.

air shocks

I'm thinking about putting air shocks in my 89 gmc c1500 to lower it a bit (with the option to go back to stock ride hight) without spending a ton on air bags. I am also installing a 4 link.

I need to know-

are they any good
how much will they lower my truck
will they screw up the rest of my suspension
do they ride nicely
can i use them with a compressor like air bags, just smaller
any recomended brands

Thanks alot for any help!!
