|61ChevyTruck||nah it's just a four hole spacer. i just didn't know cuz it was four hole and the intake was open, didn't know if one was better than the other. looks like i should keep it on though!!!|

|DoubleVision||I`m kind of confused by your post. If you were running a edelbrock carb on a stock intake, then you had to have a adapter to make it work, was it a 4 hole adapter or a open adapter? if it`s a open adapter the best place for it is in the trash, these disrupt the flow as well as the vacuum signal, if it`s a 4 hole adapter, set it aside, as you don`t need it on the Performer intake, if it`s just a plain 4 hole carb spacer, then I would keep it on.|

Keep the spacer, it will add a bit to your low end torque, by increasing the intake charge velocity. The four hole spacers are better than the open spacer for this purpose.

Got new intake should i ditch the carb spacer??
Well i have a Edelbrock 600 cfm carb and i just swapped from stock intake manifold to a edelbrock performer, now, what i'm confused about is my old intake manifold had the four holes and the spacer i have does to but this new intake has an no four holes it's all just open, i'm not sure if i should keep the spacer on or just take it out. Would air flow better? I took it to the track to see my hp improvements but nothing i'm running the exact same times, it's kinda irritating, i was expecting some kind of improvement but i got nothin, i thought maybe the spacer might be cutting the air flow maybe??? im not sure just thought i'd ask on here if anyone knows for sure!!!
