Lonestar You would be better off looking for a transaxle out of an Olds Toronado or a Buick Regal...cheaper.

Your real problem will be trying to cool it in a dune buggy.

If you want the system rear mounted...good luck getting by cheap.

Ivegonebuggy Hey , thanks alot. I am looking for a front wheel drive V-8 to use as the heart of my dune buggy, but I dont want to spend huge $cha ching$ on a 32 valve northstar off of a newer caddy. Plus the fuel injection system is a huge pain in the ***. But I want some crazy dune buggy action and I figured a V-8 is the best way to go.

Thanks again.

Wmarden I believe around 68. The eldorado switched to front wheel drive. I am not aware of any FWD caddies before that, but I don't know all I could about caddies.
