327 timing

hi.i have a 327 eng.with a 600cc holly carb,headers and a stock cam.everthingthing else is stock.does antone know about what the timing should be a idea. around 800 to 1000 rpms? and what rpm should the timing be set at and what should the timing be? thanks to anyone that responds <img src="graemlins/spank.gif" border="0" alt="[spank]" />
