corder13 D'OH! Sorry guys. The front lights, grill, and front bumper are all from a '79 Mercury Bobcat.

crazygutgut yeah I was gonna mention that too. the front grille looks smoothed and it looks like a later model front bumper. It kinda looks like the front end of a late 70's Granada or something also the "b-pillar" (?) looks different than mine too, more of an "angle" on it...

heres a side shot of mine to "compare"

Kevin45 Is it just the angle of the pic or has the front grille been change? Just doesn't look quite stock to me.

corder13 Yeah, it's salvageable. I put in some of the major things I'll be doing to it in the "Introduce Yourself" forum. I've got other mods planned, but those will come later. Before I start on anything, I'm looking for a really good running 302 HO 4bbl motor to trade either my car for or some parts for. I need a motor before I will start doing anything to this, because that'll be one of the first things I do to it, besides putting in a V8 K-member and suspension (which my grandfather didn't do when he built it).

I have heard of Dearborn Classics and Falcon Parts. I plan on using them for alot of the restoration parts (weatherstripping and stuff like that). Most of the rest will be modded and they probably won't have. I'm sure I'm going to need some body panels since it's been hit with a forklift.

crazygutgut Is it salvageable? I actually own a 62 Ranchero too! It looks cool. There are a PLETHORA of parts available for this car! and most of them are reasonably priced?
Im sure you have heard of dearbornclassics or falconparts?

Ranchero Pic

I'm guessing this is the place to post this. If I'm wrong, could a moderator please move this and send me a link to the correct forum to post this. Thanks.

Here's a pic of my '62 Ranchero the way I got it in '94. It no longer looks like this. In fact, it's pretty sad looking since it's been vandalized.
