|67 Deuce 4 Me||I did the same thing to my nova last month yes its 3/8 npt. I got my switch at advance auto parts its a one wire and closes to ground @ 210 deg to ground my relay.|

|email@example.com||Go to your auto parts store and ask to look in their catalog for that switch. Not an Auto Zone 'cause they can only work off a computer screen with your car model. You should have a good, local, greasy rag parts store anyway if you do serious rodding. I get mine there and set them up exactly as you describe. I think the proper switch is a Chrysler number, even comes with spade electrical connection. As I reacall mine has two NO contacts that close @ temp but that is easy to incorporate in a grounding circuit.|

Temp switch for electric fan
I am trying to find a temp switch that I can mount in the cylinder head of a SBC between cylinders 1 and 3 I think it is a 3/8 NPT, that will go to ground when the temp reaches 195* to 205* +/- I want this to provide a ground to the relay which in turn will om my cooling fan on the rad. I know there are companys that sell a kit, but all I want is the switch.
