I not only love old cars, I drive them. In high school (60-64) I drove my Dad's 59 Impala until my senior year when I got a 60. In the next 40 years there was a SS Chevelle, Mustang, and four mid-year Corvettes. But, my first love was the big Impala. About ten years ago I purchased a 59 Coupe and cosmetically restored it. For the last six years it has been in daily use and gets alot of attention even though it is not a show car. The car has updates like disk brakes, 605 power steering, under dash air, stereo, and last month a Tremec 5-speed. The car is driven 20,000+ miles a year and I love every mile of it. My son also drives a 59 Belair all over the U.S. in his work. Get those cars out of the garage and drive them.
