57Chevyman If you can not weld it poprivets are fine. I have fixes lots of floors with tin and poprivets. They work well, just not as pretty as a neat weld job. Just make sure that you seal up the seam to keep moisture out and prevent rust.

transmission and driveline tunnel

I had to cut my firewall and driveshaft tunnel on my 62 falcon squire wagon to put bags and a 350/700r into it. I braced the body with 3 3 inch straps. Anyone have a tech story on redoing a whole firewall & driveline tunnel? Can I poprivet it? Is it safe? Thanks everyone
