topfuel Alfie, I have used Rotary brand lifts in both symmetrical and asymmetrical configurations and am very pleased with both. I do recommend an asymmetrical lift if space is tight. I hope this helps.

matt167 At my auto shop class, we got 2 nice Ammaco lifts, new this year. I'v heard of Eagle lifts and a shop nearby has 2 old pneumatic Eagles that still work very well. At my auto shop class we have 6 lifts in all, 5 2 post and 1 4 post for alignment jobs. They all work well, I can't remember the brands of the 3 older 2 posters

What 2-post Lift to get? Eagle?

Hi All,
I'm getting ready to pour the foundation of my new garage (26x38) YaY!
I'm going to put a 2-post lift in place, but I'm having trouble deciding what brand of lift to get?
I have found Eagle Lifts on Ebay and other places on the internet. They seem like a good quality product at a good price.

Does anyone have any opinions on this or other lifts?
I'm leaning toward Asymmetric with a floor plate (even though I have over 12' overhead clearance). Is this the best choice for the home garage?

thanks!
-alfie
