85406 the vet rear is not a solid axle so perches would not be in the planning. It could be done but would be much more than a bolt in.

zachscc Should be easy if you have your old rear end for maeasurments. Go to Sears and buy a $10 Angle finder and then put the old rear axle on two jack stands with a jack under the pinion to allow you to rotate the axle on it's center then adjust untill you old perches are level (with a level) and take a measurment off the back of the cover mounting surface to determin what up or Down angle you need for the new perch pads. You can buy weld on perch pads at Summitracing.com or speedwaymotors.com speedway also has bolt ons if you can't weld but they cost about $50 Call the 800 # and talk to the speedway guys dirrect there parts guys are brilliant!

66 chevy rearend swap with corvette

my friend has a vette rear end i think it is from an 82 anyways what all do you need to swap it with my 66 chevy truck or is it even possible.
