chevy truck rearend swap
I have a 90 chevy 1500 with rear ABS and drum brakes. I would like to just replace the whole rearend with a later model; say 2000ish that has the stock disks. I know I need a new metering/proportioning valve to accomplish this, so could I just use the stock one off the donor truck that I get the dif from? Would this be the best way to go about doing this switch. Also how can I tell if the rearend I get has posi?
