buickbabe86 Welcome John. I do a lot of lurking too. I lurk because I know very little about cars, but I've had plenty of help, suggestions and ideas from many people here.

Deep Sleep
Hi Guys, Great site here...

Hi all, My name is John and have been lurking around here alot. Alot of really good info to be found. I have been out of the hot rod/street machine scene for along time. I have spent the last few years mostly build my home renovation bussiness. I did post here once about a year ago and was going to do a build up of a 83 Fleetwood Caddy but that did not work out as planned. Built a nice 79 Camaro in the mid 80s, and hade some fun with my 83 Pontiac Bonnaville 4 door in the mid 90s. Can we say sleeper?
So now I have a 83 Dodge D50 in the garage that will be getting a Ford 302, A C4 or AOD trans and a 9" or 12 bolt. It will be set-up for 1/4 runs and some street duty. I want to build it with the (as I call it) 'old school' look. Like the cars that used to run back when I was young, But I can't turn my back on the improvements in the tech side of things either. Look forward to being on this site.
