I do not think the problem is injectors because then you would have a miss at idle or under a load. The same would be true if a gasket was leaking too.
My money is on the air intake hose leading to the throttle body. I think if you look, you will find either a hole in the hose or one of the clamps is loose and allowing air to enter the engine unchecked and unmeasured.

86 ford bronco
Ive got an 86 ford bronco II 2.9L and i cant figure out why its hesitating(or missing) under load, Ive replaced the fuel filter and the distributor. the compression on the gage is sitting on the low end of normal, the only other things i can think of are the injectors and the intake gasket.
i just replaced the distributor coil cause ome of the guys at work know more about fords than i do told me it could be the problem, and nothing has changed.
