to find the stock timing on any motor just go to autozone.com, under repairs-specifications-tune up-timing.....plug in the specific motor/car info
lots of good info there, how to's, etc.

Welcome to the site dannik. You will lots of info and opinions here if you post your questions in the right forum. Repost your timing question in the Engine forum and you will get more answers. It would be a good idea to post the year of truck you have as well. Good luck with your project.

|CrashFarmer2||Hello Dannik and welcome to the board. I can see where calling your truck a Ranger could cause confusion with some parts people since Ford Rangers were originally basically a trim option and the later Rangers were a different pickup line altogether.|

I live in Dallas, TX and have recently bought a Ford pickup. It says Ranger on the sides but people keep telling me to say F-100 when asking fro parts. The guy I bought it from said it had a 360 that was bored out to 390. So I think its a 360 V8. Just wanted to know if anyone knew what to set the timing on the truck to or where I might find that answer. Glad to have joined your community and I look forward to your emails.
