OneMoreTime You could try swapping them left for right and that may gain a bit of room for you..Other than that I am moving this to body exterior and maybe those guys have a better answer..

electric windows

Hey guys, My buddy and I are trying to install electric windows in a 1946 Ford coupe. The problem we are having is the door is not deep enough it seems. I know it can be done because I have seen cars with them. The track runs toward the outside of door as it goes down. Can't get the new electric window track that far out because of the space the electric motor takes up. I sure hope one of you have put windows in a 46 Ford and will be willing to share some knowledge.
Thanks ,maninacoupe
