10-17-2002 08:09 PM to get big tires under the back of a nova you will have it tubbed, find a chassis shop, give them a call while sitting down. then when you figure out how many cans of beans and bologna sandwiches you will have to eat to afford this little procedure make your decision. way back in olden days (here goes another one) i ran a big cube big block nova on the street 6cyl front springs bring down the front, and with the correct offset wheels you can get an L-60 15 tire under the rear without raising it up to a good pair of air shocks with 20lbs of air and the tires sidewalls stay off the inner fender panels

suspension for 73 nova

I want the dragster look with big wheels in back and small up front with a low suspension...what kinda shocks, springs...etc should i get? also, does anyone have an estimate on how much it would cost to get 12 inch wheels in the back, i know you have to get bigger fender wells and such but what will all that require?
