schnitz I ran an '86 Pontiac 6000 in one. I placed 5th of 16 cars in my heat race. I missed the feature by 1 spot. My neck was a bit sore for a couple days. I'd do it again if the rules were to allow a plastic boat tank in the place of a steel one for the F.I. cars. I'll never run in a fullsize class, though. Those boys hit a lot harder than the guys with a midsize.

In a while, Chet.

I was wondering if any of you guys or gals participated in demo derbys. Our county fair just started last night and the demo derbys are one of the biggest draws for the week. I dont personally compete but have several car buddies who do on a regular basis Around here they have full size, compact and pick up truck classes.I have never seen the truck derby, but I guess the 3/4 ton fords are pretty tough to kill(built ford tough)
