Bryan59EC Got a couple of em
Had to resize em as most of my pics are 1.5 megs.
Just learning how to do this so I hope they come out okay.
But I did take a couple just now at a small resolution, but lighting was
rotten in the garage so here ya go.

This particular package is one that I can put into the housings myself.
This set-up was under $600 but I did not have to send my housings.
I do however, need to send my control box in to get the software updated.
The software should not be an issue with the newer boxes.

Do you have a picture, Bryan

Bryan,
do you have a picture of your 50 elky guages you could post?

Bryan59EC If you need to paint or rechrome the housings or Bezels--
It is required that you do it before sending gages for fitment at Dakota.

I have em in my 59 Elky----they are cool---I like em

Dakota Guage update

I just got an email from the fellow who had the Dakota guages installed in the 54 Ford shown on the original post. He sent his units off and had them made by Dakota for about $1000.00. From what I can see, it looks like a pretty fair price. They have kits in stock for many cars but can adapt their EL guages to about anything. The link is: http://www.dakotadigital.com/index.cfm

Tominator Without going into all the details as I got them at cost, if I remember correctly it was close to $850 with all the sensors. Retail was considerably more!

Dakota Digital gauges are not LED, They are electrical luminescent and are visible even in direct sunlight.

I have them on my Ranger.

docvette Doc here,

You Can Order a Dash Kit like this:

Here:Digital Dash Kits

It will require Slightly more than rudimentary Skill to install..And Be prepared For Sticker shock..This *INSET* Sells for $3,000.

You'll Need Sensors, Transducers, and the like also for your specific application..

While they look nice ESPECIALLY at night..I have a major problem with them during daylight hours..(I have very poor Eyesight.) I would not use one..and I have problems with Factory HUD's on Corvette..

Might want to think this one over.

302 Z28 That looks like a Dakota Digital panel. Considering what is involved it is pretty much beyond the capabilities of the average rod builder IMO.
