|22068||I like cats too but one is enough. Our 15 pounder just bought the farm after 14 years and we ain't getting another. He was a fun one. My wife used to bring home strays all the time and try to find them new homes but after the last one wanted in the house and climbed up the brand new bay window solar screen looking for a way in, I ran out and knocked it off with a closed fist. It didn't come after that and told my wife if she found another stray, not to come home. Unless I'm living on a farm, I don't see any reason for multiple animals lol|

Glass girl? Show me where, that Vette needs a new windshield! I don't know bout the plane tickets, Im curious bout this glass girl. I just hope you don't have the same tastes as Rob and she's 300lbs and more hair on her back than her head.
Alright, we made it back down here. Almost didn't with all the hell we went through to get out of Wichita falls. It was almost like that town was trying to chase us out how much crap happened, but Im gonna leave it at that.
All the animals made it here ok, only problem we had along the way was when me and my dad stopped at a rest stop, and my dog was riding with me, and my dad was holding the leash when I went to the bathroom. Well the leash came undone and we ended up chasing my dog down on foot along I-35 My dad finally caught him when the dog stopped to eat a turd on the ground
And now, Im on free wireless internet from the neigbors. Haha suckers shouldn't leave their internet networks open.

Doggy Downers, etc.
Valium (diazepam) works well. If you have a friendly veterinarian, tell him what you're doing and maybe he'll write a prescription. If somebody in the family already has some, 2-1/2 to 5mg should calm a cat or a small dog down for a while, although I did have to give a seriously agitated cat a good bit more than that one time.
Start with a lower dose because some critters (like humans) are more sensitive to it than others. Mix it with a little food right before you give it, otherwise they might spit it out. If somebody starts getting too agitated before you get where you're going, give them about half of what you gave them before, just to get their blood level back up.
It tends to be an appetite stimulant in cats (cat munchies?), and can cause them liver problems if used more than occasionally. Sometimes you'll run across a critter that starts acting crazy when under the influence. Again, kinda like humans.

Some pediatric dimetapp or benadryl should put those cats nose down for a bit.
Give em a dose based on thier weight.
If you don't want to do that put them in a paper bag and blow them supers.

I was thinking the fumes from the POR 15 might get to them, might knock them out for a good while
Luckily, My mom and sister will be driving with the cats, and I'll be driving my dad's truck with my dog in the front seat. As much as I like those cats, I don't think I could stand a 12 hour drive with them screaming in the back
Larry, I got the bait if you got the beer

|poncho62||Yeah....stop on the side of the Interstate................and let them play in traffic...................|

how's por15 supposed to make the cats peaceful?
I'll take a fishing trip. let me know when he's got his shtuff together.
do what i do, you gotta stop somewhere to let the cats out to get some air, and take care of kitty bidness... well, i bet you won't have half as many cats after you stop and let them out...

Ive heard things like that before, I was thinking maybe putting a coat of POR15 or something like that to try and stop the rust, and the fumes may keep them out for a while.

Well Im finally going back to the coast again guys. I moved back with my parents in Wichita falls back in July until the house was sold. Now we're all moving back down to Rockport in the next couple of days.
Now I'll never have a reason to have to come back to this town
My dad bought a 34' Uniflite yacht to start his own fishing guide service, and my mom bought a small clothing store to run. And I'll go back to the boat mechanic stuff I was working with down there. Hopefully there will be some boats that need to be fixed when I get down there.
Only bad thing is, its a 12 hour drive down there, and we have 7 cats and a dog to get down there with us. Does anyone know of something we could give them to make them sleep the whole way
