|Ron Alexander||Right on. I live in Bothell, WA and forgot about Vintage. And you're right, I will have to have a shorter radiator. I suppose I will have to have one built.|

Thanks for the quick reply. Are the supports that you mentioned available out there anywhere? None of these items came with the car. What would you want for the radiator?
I also want to replace the dash with something that resembles the stock one. The dash installed is out of a White truck and it's all screwed up. The windshield regulator is also missing and I want to be able to crank open the windshield. Do you know where I can find a dash or a windshield regulator? I have the T shaped crank handle only.

YUP RON I'M BUILDING A 36 FORD 3 WINDOW COUPE. YES YOU WANT TO USE AN ORIGINAL OR AFTERMARKET RADIATOR SO IT SITS IN THE ORIGINAL SPOTS AND ON YOUR 36 THERE ARE TWO SUPPORTS ON THE FRAME THAT HOLDS THE RADIATOR IN PLACE YOU SHOULD BE MOUNTING TO THEM. I DO HAPPEN TO HAVE AN ORIG. RAD. FOR SALE THAT ISN'T TO BAD, HOWEVER I WOULD HAVE IT GONE THOUGH ANYWAY I HOPE THIS HELPS

36 Ford Radiator
I don't know anything about Fords but am anxious to learn. I just picked up a channeled 36 Ford 5-window coupe street rod project car. There was no radiator with the car. It has a 65 289 V8 and C4 tranny installed. My question is, will a stock radiator fit or should I look for an aftermarket unit? (name?) Where does it mount? There are two large holes in the frame crossmember that look to me to be the factory motor mount locations for the original flathead V8. There are 2 smaller holes on each side of the crossmember in the front (4 total)that look like something mounted there. Any suggestions? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">
