I am a bike builder turned on to a project from 1930. The barn burned
and the only thing left standing proud and tall was a 1930 Ford vicky.
To me this is a testament to Henry Ford and my brothers in arms coming home
from WWII (thanks all you vets). They picked these cars up and drove them home to there family. I need to get it running by next spring. To relive the
trip my father inlaw took that summer on his way home. He will be going with
me if his health holds out. He lied about his age to get in the Navy at 14
and anything he does to recolect those times makes him young again.
This Vicky had been a hotrod it is all steel with a chevy power plant
and Heidts A arm front and four wheel disc. The body took the heat the worst but that is not what needs to be perfect. more important to me is
the drive line and suspension and brakes. Interior ,bomber seats. He actually had these in a car he drove. Thats all for now.
