I blew my 7.5 in my 86 cutlass with my a 300 (maybe) horse 350. It had 3.42 gears and posi with 255/65/15 rubber. When I took it apart all most of the spider gears were broke. The cure would be a better posi unit but then you would probably break a pinion or axle. Its not worth the money IMHO.
Well, how what would I replace to make it stronger or is there a better unit that will be able to withstand this much power? I'd rather do it once, the right way.
