|camaroman7d||You may want to look into a mini power steering pump with a remote resevoir. Another option is going to man ual steering. You really don;t want to hang toomuch off of that crank snout with a blower. You may be able to use a single groove pulley on the bottom and drive your acc. off of the water pump. Just a few things to think about. I have manual steering so it wasn't/isn't an issue. I mounted my alternator low on the driver side, this cleared in my Camaro (was very tight) and also clear in my current project (but it has a tube frame).|

Pully problems: sbc 671 weiand, power steering
the weiand 671 kit has a 2 pully system, besides the actual drive belt. i am having a hell of a time trying to figure out what pullys and brackets to be using. I have a Alan grove braket that was great but now the pully hits the blower tensioner. Now i have an electric fuel pump so i can move my alternator in the passenger lower side, where the fuel pump was. The main problem i have is that my power steering pump was running off of a third pulley groove and now with the 2 groove pulley, i cant figure out how i can make it work.
is there a power steering braket that moves the pulley into the second groove? or is there a way i can have my alt. and power steering pump both working with a belt driven water pump? can my problem be solved with an electric water pump?
just lookin for some ideas and help.
the car is a 68 chevelle, with a 350. the a bodies have the power steerin box in a bad spot that limits some of the power steering pump locations.
